The Field Product Specialist is a marketing role that is designed to enhance accessibility to product and service solutions for our customers and improve the overall Cardiovascular customer experience with professional education, technical & clinical product training.

This role will be in charge of the internal training plan and health care professionals for some strategic products in the Cordis portfolio. Actively presence on the field and participating in meetings and presentations with customers. In addition, this role will be a key piece contributing to the strategic plan for the development of selected therapies in Iberia.

The Field Product specialist will be part of Iberia Marketing team in Spain and will be working closely with the Marketing Manager & Field Sales team as well as the EMEA Marketing team.

We are looking for a highly talented individual with a passion for sales, fostering customer relationships and identifying innovative ways to add value for the customer will be the main driver to success. Responsibilities

  • Support the launch plan and market development of Selution SLR.

  • Strategic & Tactical management of products through various stages of lifecycle for Spain & Portugal Market.

  • Marketing Communications including Exhibitions, Digital Strategy, and appropriate assets to support local team.

  • Train and educate relevant hospital staff on Cordis products & provide technical support.

  • Co-ordinate and communicate relevant information of products, competition, trends, market, and strategies.

  • Make sure that the sales force has adequate product and procedure knowledge.

  • Contribute to further increase penetration in existing accounts, develop existing accounts into potential new product therapies, and develop actual non-buying accounts.

  • Build, together with marketing manager and sales team, strong and lasting business relationshipswith key opinion leaders and key decision makers.

  • Provide direction and co-ordinate efforts between all internal functions, including but not limited to Sales, EMEA & Global Marketing, Finance, Supply chain and Regulatory affairs.

  • Develop, review, implement and monitor productivity of promotional programs.

  • Support Bid & Tender Value Proposition and submissions with relevant technical information.

  • Support via Field Visits and other means, the sales force to drive BP.

Qualifications

  • Education & Qualifications Must-Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, BA, Biomedical engineering, or other relevant degrees.

  • Experience in the medical device industry preferred in Cardiovascular.

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and other systems applications in data processing.

  • Self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise, influence, and negotiate effectively at all levels.

  • Fluent Spanish and effective verbal and written English.Nice to Haves

  • Knowledge of marketing and medical or therapy background.

  • Post graduate Marketing Qualification.

  • Awareness of hospital competitive marketplace.

  • Familiar with business policies in a multinational environment. Skills and competencies

  • Proven ability to effectively communicate (written or verbal) at all levels in an organisation and with diverse groups.

  • Experience in handling uncertainty and complexity. Talent for problem-solving through analytical ability to draw evidence-based conclusions about the impact of market dynamics, customers, and competitors on programs.

  • Proven track record of good judgment. Demonstrated integrity and respect of peers and subordinates.

  • Able to travel throughout Spain & Portugal being prepared to stay away from home as required. Infrequent travel outside Iberia is required.
